Beginning in 2026, Kevin and Kim Holland—through their company, Khnetic Solutions—will assume full responsibility for planning and executing the annual Mid-C Seminar. This transition follows the thoughtful leadership of longtime organizers Doug Frazier and Bill Dearing, whose dedication and vision helped shape Mid-C into one of the most respected events in the industry. Building on that legacy, Kevin and Kim bring decades of experience in strategic leadership, logistics, and event coordination, with a commitment to preserving the Seminar’s core values while enhancing its structure, accessibility, and overall participant experience.

At Khnetic Solutions, we specialize in designing and delivering high-quality industry events that run smoothly, feel intentional, and bring people together with purpose. Founded by Kim and Kevin Holland, our firm brings decades of experience in leadership, logistics, and strategic planning—with a shared passion for creating experiences that support connection and clarity.

In 2026, Khnetic Solutions will focus exclusively on planning and executing the Mid-C Seminar. From behind-the-scenes coordination to on-site delivery, we’re honored to carry this respected event forward—and committed to maintaining its tradition of excellence while bringing thoughtful updates and strong operational support to every detail.

Together, we bring decades of experience in strategic leadership, energy operations, and event coordination. Our work is grounded in real-world expertise, built on strong relationships, and focused on helping organizations navigate complexity with clarity and confidence.

  • Co-Founder

    Kim Holland is a dynamic strategist and operational leader with a background in public-sector consulting, professional development design, and large-scale event coordination. She has successfully led initiatives ranging from intimate executive retreats to full-scale conferences with over 1,200 attendees and more than 100 vendors.

    Known for her ability to align vision, logistics, and communication, Kim brings clarity and structure to complex projects. At Khnetic Solutions, she leads all aspects of planning and execution for the annual Mid-C Seminar—ensuring that every detail reflects both purpose and precision.

    Kim is a Gonzaga alumna, an award-winning former elementary school principal, and an active contributor to regional and national conversations on workforce planning and leadership.


  • Co-Founder

    Kevin Holland brings more than 25 years of leadership in the energy industry, with deep expertise in resource planning, strategic acquisitions, and operational optimization. He currently serves as Director of Energy Resources at Avista, where he oversees trading, resource acquisition, regional collaboration, and contract negotiation across both gas and electric portfolios.

    Kevin's career spans roles in real-time system operations, structured transactions, energy efficiency, and market strategy—including work with Shell Energy North America and Avista Energy. Known for his ability to connect strategic thinking with practical execution, Kevin offers Khnetic Solutions clients a seasoned perspective on long-term planning, utility growth, and cross-functional alignment.

    He holds a BA and MBA from Gonzaga University, with concentrations in Marketing and Finance.
